Joey Votto left the yard at West Side Park where the Dublin Pubcrawlers beat
the Chicago Colts by the score of 6 to 5.
The deciding run was scored by Dublin in the top of the 9th. Votto drew a
walk. A.J. Pollock was a strikeout victim, unable to help out. Franklin
Gutierrez then drew a walk. After another out, Michael Brantley came to the
plate and laced a base-knock scoring the run. Dublin managed 13 hits in
their victory.
The victory was credited to Ryan Madson(2-1) who went 2 innings, allowing 1
run. Kenley Jansen preserved the game for Madson, recording his his 4th save.
Casey Fien(0-2) was charged with the loss in relief.
