Third baseman Adam Duvall launched 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Dyersville
Jurassics defeated the Bozeman Bees by the score of 8 to 3 at the
ballpark.
Duvall enjoyed a great evening at the plate. Every time he came up in the
latter innings, the crowd was on their feet cheering. He cracked a solo
homerun in the 3rd inning, doubled in the 5th inning, smashed a solo-shot out
of the park in the 7th inning and doubled bringing in two baserunners in the
8th inning. Overall Dyersville out-hit Bozeman 15 to 5.
Brad Brach(3-2) got credit for the victory, pitching 2 innings and allowing 1
run. The loss was charged to Justin Wilson(3-5) in relief. Dyersville scored
big getting 3 runs off him in 2 innings.
'It's just about getting in a good hitting position and just going out there
and being prepared,' Duvall said. 'You try to hit in your own capacity and
not do too much. I just try to have a good approach, day after day, game by
game, and pitch by pitch.'
