The San Ybel Islanders defeated the Burbank Tigers in 10 innings by a score of
7 to 4 at SunTrust Park.
The game was deadlocked at 4 after nine full innings. San Ybel won it in the
10th inning. After an out was recorded, Cody Bellinger started the rally
when he drew a walk. Jacoby Jones was a strikeout victim, unable to help
out. Max Kepler then belted a three-run homer making San Ybel victorious to
the delight of the the home town crowd. San Ybel finished with 10 hits in
the victory.
Grant Dayton(2-0) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 1 inning. Tyler
Matzek(0-2) was charged with the loss in relief. San Ybel now has a record
of 24-16. Burbank has a record of 21-19 after the loss.
