Deivi Garcia took a no-hitter into the 6th inning at Edsel Stadium where the
Gotham Gold Gloves beat the Dyersville Jurassics by the score of 2 to
0.
Garcia(3-1) came through with a virtuoso performance against the Dyersville
hitters. He didn't give up much, just 3 hits and no walks in 8 innings
dropping his ERA from 3.12 to 2.38. The right-handed Garcia lost his chance
for a no-hitter when Tim Anderson singled with nobody out in the 6th inning.
Gotham and Dyersville each finished the night with 3 hits.
Garcia was helped out by Rafael Dolis who recorded his 10th save. Tyler
