The Oakland Athletics nipped the Hollywood Marines in 11 innings 5 to 4 at
Comerica Park in a hard fought contest.
Both teams were tied at 4 runs apiece after nine innings. Oakland won the
hard fought contest in the 11th inning. After two outs Christian Walker
doubled scoring the run. Both teams ended up with 8 hits on the night.
Wander Suero(1-1) went 2 and 2/3 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Cam
Hill earned his 1st save. Liam Hendriks(7-4) suffered the loss in relief.
He was the victim of a defensive lapse and did not allow an earned run in the
game.
