Palatine Cubs in 10 innings 3 to 2 at Sahlen Field.
The score was tied at 2 after nine. Dyersville won it in the 10th inning.
J.T. Realmuto stroked a base-hit. Tim Anderson got his chance to keep things
going, but he went down on strikes. Realmuto got a good lead and stole
second. After another out, Pierce Johnson then had one get away for a wild
pitch scoring the run. Dyersville had only 6 hits for the night.
The win was credited to Jeremy Jeffress(3-3) who went 2 innings allowing 1
run. Johnson(2-1) suffered the loss in relief. He was the victim of a
