Shane Bieber mowed down 12 New York batters at Lateralus Parabola where the
Dublin Pubcrawlers beat the New York The Yanks in 10 innings 3 to 2.
Both teams had scored 2 runs after nine full innings. Dublin won the hard
fought contest in the 10th inning. After two were out Jason Heyward slapped
a base-hit scoring the run. Dublin had only 4 hits for the game.
Lucas Sims(2-1) allowed no runs in 1/3 of an inning, and picked up the
victory. Sims got help from Rafael Montero who earned his 14th save. Mychal
Givens(1-1) was hit with the loss in relief. It was a tough loss for him as
he did not allow an earned run in his 1 and 2/3 innings of work.
Dublin, who had been struggling lately, moved their record to a division
leading 56-35. They are now 2-8 in their last ten games. With this loss,
New York has a 5-5 record of late, 49-42 overall.
