35,223 fans watched an exciting game at Camden Yards. The indomitable Burbank
Tigers topped the Chicago WC White Caps by the slimmest of margins, 4 to
3.
Both teams were tied at 2 runs apiece after nine innings. Finally, Burbank
prevailed in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Trea Turner began
the Burbank spurt when he clubbed a two-run home run giving Burbank the
victory as 35,223 happy fans celebrated wildly. Burbank totaled 7 hits on
the night.
The win was credited to Josh Hader(4-2) who went 3 innings allowing 2 runs.
Ian Kennedy(1-3) suffered the loss in relief. He gave up 1 hit and 2 walks
in 1 and 1/3 innings.
The winning ways continue for Burbank. They now have a record of 9-1 in
recent days. Chicago WC can't seem to snap out of their recent 'funk'. Now
they have a miserable 1-9 record over the last couple weeks.
