At Edsel Stadium, the Gotham faithful were treated to an intriguing pitcher's
duel. Drew Smyly(2-5) finally bested his Streator counterpart, Mitch
Keller(5-9), by the score of 2 to 1.
In the 6th inning Gotham scored 1 run. Streator had a chance in the 9th but
they came up short. Smyly got relief help from Chris Martin who gained
credit for his 7th save. Keller was the losing pitcher. He pitched 7
innings giving up only 3 hits and 2 walks.
