separated the combatants at game's end. The Columbus Crowd won by the
slimmest of margins, 7 to 6.
Both teams were tied at 5 runs apiece after nine innings. Columbus was
victorious in the 10th inning. Christian Yelich opened up the rally as he
lined a one-base hit resulting in a run. Yelich took second on the throw.
After an out was recorded, Yandy Diaz came to the plate and stroked a
base-hit making Columbus victorious to the delight of the the home town
crowd. A wild affair, this game saw the lead change 5 times.
Devin Williams(1-2) got the win allowing 1 run in 2 and 2/3 innings. Ryan
Helsley(0-3) ended up with the loss in relief. He allowed 2 hits and no
walks in 1/3 of an inning.
