In a tight game it was the Woodfield Roadkyll 5, the Hollywood Marines 3 at
Englefield Green.
Woodfield scored 2 runs in the decisive 4th inning when they had 3 base hits.
They would be enough to earn the win. Woodfield rapped out 9 hits for the
night.
Casey Mize(1-0) got the win allowing 3 runs in 5 innings. Mize was helped out
by Andres Munoz who recorded his 2nd save. Jacob Degrom(0-1) ended up with
the loss.
'I struggled a bit out there tonight,' Mize said, 'but I toughed it out and we
got the win.'
