Third baseman Jordan Westburg hit a grand slam at The Horseshoe as the
Columbus Crowd beat the Gotham Gold Gloves 6 to 5.
Westburg enjoyed a fine evening at the plate. He doubled in the 2nd inning
and launched a Grand Slam homerun in the 3rd inning. Both teams totaled 8
hits on the night.
Zac Gallen(1-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 8 innings and allowing 5
runs. Devin Williams earned the save, his 3rd. Hogan Harris(2-1) was tagged
with the loss in relief. It was a tough loss for him as he did not allow an
earned run in his 2 innings of work.
