In a game at Busch Stadium the Tampico Stogies offense put up 5 runs on the
scoreboard in the 1st inning and got by the Borculo Bumble Bees by the score
of 10 to 7.
Tampico took the lead off Shota Imanaga in the first inning when they came up
with 5 runs on 3 hits. The big moment was provided by Wenceel Perez who made
the crowd come alive when he smacked a three-run homer. Tampico had 11 hits
for the game and Borculo had 8.
The winning pitcher was Michael King(3-0) who allowed 4 runs in 5 innings.
Aroldis Chapman gained credit for his 5th save. Imanaga(0-2) was tagged with
the loss. By giving up 5 runs without retiring a batter his ERA increased
from 4.76 to 8.74.
