One run was the difference at Lateralus Parabola as the Palatine Cubs defeated
the New York The Yanks in 10 innings 3 to 2.
The game was deadlocked at 1 after nine full innings. Palatine came out on
top in the 10th inning. Jose Altuve began the Palatine spurt when he doubled
driving in a run. After an out was recorded, Masyn Winn stepped up to the
plate and he lashed a single scoring the final run of the inning. Palatine
banged out 9 hits on the night.
The win went to Greg Weissert(2-0) who allowed no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings.
Juan Mejia earned the save, his 1st. Cade Smith(0-2) was the losing pitcher
in relief.
